i'm sure it's been said in the finer print

Is there a specific item or category of items that you have bad luck holding onto? I ask because, for me, that item is tweezers. I buy maybe four or five of those damn things a year and like socks in the washing machine, they just slip into a black hole. And if I'm not losing them, I'm ruining them doing silly things like using a pair to turn a screw when I can't find a screwdriver. That some be handy when the mood strikes to tame an eyebrow... well, it's just unheard of.

I have to buy yet another pair today. In the chronology of my day, that comes after breakfast and dance aerobics and before showering, cleaning out my car, changing my bedding, and getting pretty for a day of live music in the sun. First music festival of the summer, yay! (If you don't count the 15 minutes I chilled at the free jazz fest in downtown Wilmington on Thursday. I don't.)
