Because of the nasty weather conditions, schools in my district are closed today. Offices, however, are open. I'm actually sort of excited, because it means no distractions from Getting Shit Done. And while I'll still have to answer a thousand phone calls from parents asking whether school is closed (even though the information is readily available on TV, the radio, and the internet), I won't have to do so while also dealing with students and teachers.

My alarm clock plays WXPN when it goes off, and today Belle and Sebastian were singing Step Into My Office Baby at my wake-up time. I love coincidence. Good morning to secretaries everywhere.
