The show last night was awesome. Very high energy and great songs. I was also impressed with the girl (her name escapes me) and her musical multi-tasking. At one point she was singing, holding (and using) a shaker and a xylophone mallet in her right hand, and banging a drum with her left. All at once. I guess they recently went from a quartet to a trio, so the drum set is kinda in three parts now, and they take turns standing at the different bits. One will stomp the pedal for the bookended highhats, one will be on the kick drum, and one will use those little brushes on another drum. While also playing at least one other instrument. Pretty cool. Old Springs Pike is now on my list of Bands to See More.

I found out that the Valentine gift left on my desk WAS from Matt. My pal Mary Beth spilled the secret to me. Hm.

This morning, I went to look at my daily horoscope in the newspaper. Except that it was missing. All the rest of the astrological signs are there, but it goes right from Gemini to Leo. I cut the section out and am going to keep it for laughs. I guess I get to make up my own, then?

Hey you! Today is a good day for catching up on projects that have been piling up on your desk. Someone at work finds you attractive, but hasn't made a move yet and it's probably for the better. Tonight, you will have a rocking good time with a sassyAquarius Pisces who's about to have a birthday. Remember to stop at Total Wine and More for the beverages of your choice.

Date: 2008-02-15 04:37 pm (UTC)I'm all about having an admirer. It is fun! But this guy, he is a problem. He flirts with everyone, which I'm totally cool with. But he has been flirting with me for months and hasn't made a move yet. On one hand it bothers me, because I'm all, "Ask me to dinner already!" On the other hand, dating people you work with can be oh-so-dangerous. PLUS, he is only really Makeout Pals material in my book... not Heavy Involvement material. I don't want him to ask me out in a big way.
In a perfect world, he could just keep flirting with me at work, and maybe we could makeout from time to time.
Sooooo, yeah.
