Oh happy day.
Jan. 23rd, 2009 12:41 pmI feel way pleased today. Seems as if I've been approved for the vacation days I requested, middle of February. Now I just have to buy my plane ticket, and I'm on my way to Gainesville, FL to see Elliott next month.
Speaking of Eli, he and I were on the phone when he received a package I'd sent him, so I got to hear his immediate reactions to all the goodies therein. Something like 10 handmade cards, a Phillies matchbox truck, SEXY For Him aftershave from Vicki Sec's, and a mix CD. Tres magnifique pour un garcon!
It is, like, 50 degrees outside and for the first time in maybe a month, I'm not having static issues. No puffy hair or clingy skirts. Gosh, I'm so excited for spring.
