i'm sure it's been said in the finer print

Sick, for the first time in a long while. Coughing that wakes me up at night, pressure/itching in my ears, a lot of post-nasal drip. I can deal, but if this turns into an ear infection... I will lose my mind. I HATE ear infections.

Someone brought in cupcakes from a local bakery this morning. I've had better.

For lunch, I ate some of a cracked wheat, lentil, and fried onion dish I made last night. Also, black bean hummus with garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and sea salt. Beans! Magical and not just in the song-about-farts way!

The new Neko Case album is AWESOME! I would say it's "the shit" but I don't really curse much. Except in you-know-where, when I'm getting you-know-whatted. Neko's voice is still haunting and echo-y, but there's a little extra sass on this album that is totally new.
