One secretary is taking today, tomorrow, and Monday off. The other is at a doctor's appointment until noon. That leaves just me, and I'm holding down the fort in the main office. Also, the principal is out of the building.

Something that really rubs me wrong: Kids with no manners. I'd say probably 80% of the kids that come through the office are without a shred of politeness. Completely unable to act appropriately. They don't have two social graces to rub together. Rant rant crotchety rant. Manners 101 should really be one of the exploratories like Art or Spanish. Except mandatory like Gym and Health.
