Jan. 26th, 2008 09:39 amI started two valentines last night. I plan on using a lot of recycled/upcycled materials. Stuff I already have, little things that I've enjoyed for a while and want someone else to enjoy.
Listening to the most recent Jens Lekman album makes me want to have a summer afternoon cocktail party, with everyone wearing white and flirting with each other. On some kind of boat. You know the video for that Aaliyah song, "Rock The Boat"? It would be like that a little, plus hipsters in thrifted outfits.
Today I'm doing a little supplemental grocery shopping, walking Glasgow Park with my mom, and eating at Hibachi. And I'll probably work more on my valentines tonight. mufassalove in Philly for eats and entertainment and catching up. Perhaps a trip to one of the Ritz Theaters? Persepolis, Atonement, and The Savages all seem real good.
