Jan. 17th, 2008 08:11 amThe Peruvian chicken place was awesome. We had salad and yellow rice and fried yuca with our meal. I'd like to go back for their chicken cilantro soup and sweet rice.
After dinner, the fam and I stopped into Sweet and Sassy Cupcakes for dessert. They were getting ready to close and only had 9 cupcakes left. Normally, one of their treats costs $2.50. We were told that as an end-of-the-day thing, they were 3 for $5. My mom, bargainess and haggler extraordinaire, offered them $10 for everything. After some hesitation, the girl slinging the cupcakes relented and packed them up for us.
Clearance Cupcakes!!!
I had a peanut butter and jelly cupcake last night, a coconut vanilla one this morning, and tomorrow I'll eat the strawberry vanilla one I've still got left.
In the shower, post-gym and pre-bed, I got a good idea for a song. So I started writing it. Well, the lyrics anyway. I don't know a thing about writing music for instruments, but I can hum how it should go. It's kind of countryish.
