I was miserable at work yesterday with coughing and a sore throat. Lozenges of various kinds (Halls, Ricola, etc) were my best friends until the early afternoon, when I started having some kind of allergic reaction. My entire tongue and the roof of my mouth were sore (as if they'd been rubbed with a fine grit sandpaper) and itchy as hell. My mom and I ran some errands after work and I couldn't help but walk around with my mouth all agape, hoping the air would soothe it. Two benadryl finally stopped the weirdness, and a prescription cough and congestion medicine let me sleep.
I feel almost human today!
